Does the customer receive an email notification that the deposit has been processed?
- Client's submitting deposits using Cogent Capture receive an email stating the deposit has been received or in some cases it will be submitted to their "FI" for approval. If submitted to their "FI" for approval is sent to the client they will receive a further communication indicating it was approved or rejected (if applicable).
Does remote deposit have different entitlements for different users.
- Yes. It is possible to establish multiple accounts with different user entitlements for ability to scan or ability to process the deposit.
How long should customers keep scanned checks for?
- 30 Days
What happens if a customer exceeds their daily limit?
- The customer will be able to submit the deposit, and the deposit will go into an exception queue and manually approved. The deposit must be approved subject to the Bank's operational credit exposure authority limits.
